So. I’m pretty sure the cold I got was something very short and very quick. I’ve been attacking the virus with vitamin C and a whole spectrum of herbs and vitamins and lots of water, tea, and nasal decongestants.
So far, I’m feeling a bit better, but the mornings are brutal. Thankfully, Novio has been driving to work so I don’t have to be so awake to drive. I often feel bored and unaccomplished while at work, but when I do ask for projects and help my team I feel like apart of the group, which is really important to me. I want to work with and for people I like and admire and respect. This whole situation is good and I’m so thankful for that!

I just bought my ticket for Say Anything this December. One ticket. Hopefully I’ll meet some new people and dance my heart out. I haven’t listened to them in a while, but anytime I’ve ever turned them on I am taken back to a time in my childhood that I adored, loved, and will never forget. A time with friends, loud music, Starland Ballroom, and many many nights of goofy laughter. If anything the concert will bring a beautiful sense of nostalgia and it will bring comfort to my heart, despite feeling a bit nervous about going to a concert alone. But that always happens, that initial fear in realizing you may be standing in a room full of people alone and not know anyone is pretty scary, but I think it will be really good for me, time to myself, time to enjoy this music and atmosphere. Only good vibes and good things will come from it.

I also have been reading the Adventure Time comic book series. I love the show and I am in love with the comic series! It is amazing! Funny, smart, colorful, and down right ridiculous. Sometimes through all the hustle and craziness we need some childish happiness.

And in more news. I think for Novio’s and I second year anniversary we need to go on a trip. More like, I need an excuse to save up to go on a trip. I’m thinking South America. I’m thinking Guatemala. Or I’m thinking Asia. More like South Korea. I don’t know, all I know is I better start saving now so I can travel in luxury!

One more hour left of work. I’ve already mentally checked out.
Oye.
