Today was my first day back at work after a two week break. It was also the first day back for the teaching and administration staff. The day turned out to be yuck with boring and dirty jobs with very little stimulating conversation. I am getting very frustrated with work and the way I don’t get equal treatment. My co-workers managed to book in 20 hours over time last month, a month where traditionally there is no overtime, yet I received nothing. Additionally, they managed to fiddle a load of scrap out of the school, thus making even more money not shared with me. Yet they seem to get away with it and I get treated like pooh and I get given all the pooh jobs. I can’t wait to leave!
I have applied for a multi-drop delivery job with a local food delivery company. I have no idea how my application will be viewed but I need to keep my fingers crossed as it would be an ideal job to break into a full-time driving job with. My intention at the moment is to try and break into a low-level (3.5ton or 7.5ton) driving job, gaining experience and work my way up through road transport. If I fail with this position there appears to be a range of other supermarket delivery jobs in the local area to keep trying at.
I have not received a reply from the driving school that I sent an email to yesterday regarding the cancellation of my lessons. In some ways I am not surprised as they did not respond to one of my enquiries I made through email when I was trying to make a booking. I will see if I get a response tomorrow if not I will decide whether to send a letter. I want to book my 7.5t training on Wednesday provided I am confident I am not going to held responsible for any charges from this other company.
I have just been uploading a load of pictures from my recent trip to the Isle of Man on photobucket. That was an amazing trip to such a friendly island, would like to go back again soon but probably won’t due to cost!
