NJM23 - Entry #7 in These Foolish Things

Prompt: What’s your biggest pet peeve about yourself?

Surprised I’ve been doing the prompts, but then again, I don’t feel like writing about how stressed I am about C. taking my dog while I’m on vacation. The short answer is, he’s not dependable (he’s too freaking busy), but he’s so nice and good to us both, and I know Martini likes C. so I know she’s going to be just fine.

But the thing is, we were supposed to go to dinner tonight so I could do a proper drop-off and he blew me off for a business dinner and said he’ll come over to my place and pick her up after his dinner and blah blah blah.

Well, I have to finish packing and then get up at 3am so I can make it to the airport by 4:30 to catch my 7am international flight!

So I guess the biggest pet peeve about myself is that I have such a hard time just going with the flow when things change. I have to make plans and if things don’t go according to plan, then I get upset and off track in a big way.

I’m annoyed at C. but at least I was able to get this little entry in and I’m going to take Martini for a little walk and then finish packing so that when C. finally shows up all I have to do is hand her over and give him a little instruction and then I can fall into bed.
