Ugh, what a long last few weeks... But I'm proud to report that I've successfully moved into my new apartment and am settling into my new surroundings. It wasn't without it's issues but- I did it....
Granted, this included a few 'maintenance' fixes of my own involving gorilla glue.... several, several moppings... buying more items than intended to make my surroundings comfortable...
Also an 5 hour jaunt trying to figure out an issue with the cable company that involved me dissolving into a pathetic sobbing pile of frustration where upon a salesman finally took pity on me and fixed everything. God bless Steve- give him plenty of good luck and happiness for being my technological savior.
Aaand latest news, I have a carbon monoxide leak but, that will be fixed shortly as well.
I understand that all of these are just growing pains but, I'm really looking forward to when all these issues are addressed and I'm living normally again. I've got Razor this week and I just want him to be comfortable and happy at my new place since I'll be watching him periodically.
