Wish I Had Some Money Wednesday, August 13, 2003
I don't have a lot of money these days. However, today I went to wal-mart and couldn't help but treat myself to a bag of cookies. I can't wait until one day I can go to the store and buy myself a whole bunch of stuff I have always wanted. I want some new shelves for my bathroom and I want a little TV for my bedroom. I want some new clothes too. Oh, and I want some new candles and candle holders. A few new DVDs would be cool. I would like to redo my room. Like get a new comforter and new dresser and stuff. That would rule. However, the cookies I treated myself to will have to do until I either get a raise, (which I am working very hard at)or go to college and get a real job.
Last month I splurged and bought a 5 dollar map of the world. I love my map. I guess that's a good thing about having no money... you learn to appreciate what you buy.
I suppose I could be one of those people that meet people that have more money than me and be really nice to them so that they buy me stuff. However, I wouldn't appreciate the stuff very much... but I'd still like it.
