But now I have a JOB in The Best Coast Life

I got a job at Trader Joe's near my apartment and the more I think about it, the more excited I get. I think it will be a really great way to keep myself busy, meet people my own age, and get to know the community. The pay isn't anything to write home about, but it's better than my ole job. And now that I know I'll be working soon I'm appreciating the endless hours I spend inside my apartment watching Netflix movies and binge watch episodes of Orange is the New Black.

Yesterday I had an interview with a restaurant, Red Dog, for an Assistant Pastry Chef position. The whole experience took about four-ish hours of on my feet baking, taking direction, and making bread. I really enjoyed the entire experience, I adore wearing that chef's coat, cutting, rolling, heating, and frying. It was exhausting. The work itself was rewarding and tiring, but at the end of the day it will wear me down so much that I simply won't want to do anything after work. I'm 24 years old and I want to play.

Trader Joes Pro's: work with people my own age, close to my house, good pay, less vigorious than Red Dog, 10% discount on food Con's: could get boring, not as exciting,

Red Dog Pro's: I get to work in a kitchen, feeling of reward, learn and expand my baking knowledge, better pay, tips, free food Con's: long commute, not conducive to meeting people, really exhausting, and the hours are early

I know we already know what I'm going to pick. I already got the job with Trader Joe's. I feel good about it. Let's stick with that.

Friday I have an interview for an internship with 826 Valencia that I really want and if that goes well I'll work with TJ's for 20ish hours and 826 for 20 hours and there ya go, full-time and jazz!
