I am not sure if my switch over day is Saturday's or Sunday's. One ap says one and the other says the other. But I am either 35 weeks today or in 1 hour and 20 minutes when it turns to midnight I will be 35 weeks! Its been a hell of a ride.....I did not write last week. Open diary has been down more than up these days which sucks....but I will find a home here now!
I am waking up more at night than I was. A couple of weeks ago there were nights that I was up 4 times in a night to pee. Lately it has been none or one. I think I am dehydrated right now though. TMI alert....I have had diarrhea for like 10 days. It started out as more often throughout the day but more formed and it has turned in to 4 ish times a day but like complete water. I know, awesome. End TMI. I have lost 6 lbs in that time. So, I had gained 10 lbs in the pregnancy, now I have gained 4. I drank probably about 2 1/2- 3 liters of water today (85-100 oz) which is plenty but I am not peeing all that often.
In other fun news, I was diagnosed with lyme this week. For those of you not from the north east. Its a tick bound disease....very common around here! We were allowed to wear Red Sox stuff on Monday to work. I had on a t-shirt and it kept rubbing my arm and irritating it. I thought maybe it was a pimple or something on my upper under arm. I went to the bathroom to look at it and it looked like maybe a spider bite or something. I kinda ignored it and then googled at home if I should be concerned because of the risk of infection and stuff. That made me nervous and I called my OB who said to monitor it and draw a line around it. If it looked different or bigger in the morning to call my PCP. Well, my morning it was about twice the size. I ended up seeing a super nice doctor at my PCPs office and she put me on amoxacillan (the antibiotic that they recommend is not allowed during pregnancy). Fun times!
I cant think of anything else too exciting to report. I got a REALLY sweet picture of the baby this week at my MFM appointment. The baby has the cutest chubby cheeks and looks a lot like I did as a baby.....I think it looks like a boy though. Oh, so, Wednesday I had my weekly appointment. My blood pressure was a little bit up, which it seems to always be in the office. The Dr. that I saw this week was concerned about it and wanted me to come back for a check this morning. Well, I went in this morning and it was even higher. The doctor came in to see me and sent me to Labor and Delivery at the hospital. I immediately burst in to tears. I was so scared that they were going to admit me, that they were going to induce me today. So much going through my head. I called my Mom because I told her I would after my appointment. She knew I was alone (Sal had worked overnight and was sleeping...I didnt want to wake him without knowing what was going on and I knew he had to work tonight)....she was ready to hop in her car and come hang out with me. I told her to wait and I would let her know what was going on. I cried 1/2 way to the hospital. I got there, waited about 5 mins, and they hooked me up to the monitors. The heartrate was fine and they took my blood pressure 4 times, every 10 mins. The numbers were great.... They were: 128/78 128/83 121/77 114/61 120/71
After that they took me off, the doctor told me that I was fine and I could go home. PHEW! So, I came home, cleaned up a little bit and sat down on my bed to relax. Aynslie came over to snuggle with me, nothing unusual. After a few minutes she puked ALL over me and the bed. It was on the sheets, comforter, my pillows, and all over me. The worst part...she had eaten shit and puked shit up all over me. I thought I was going to puke.....so gross! I hopped in the shower while Sal stripped the bed and off I headed to the laundromat to wash everything. I feel bad that her tummy hurt so badly, but that was f-in disgusting.
I did get my brakes and rotors replaced today too! So, in the past couple of weeks I have done a 75,000 mile check up, new brakes and rotors, and new front tires...I think this car is ready for baby (minus the fact that I Dont have a car seat yet!).
Alright, time to finish watching the Sox game and hit they hay!
