Less then a week... in A Day in the Life of Me

Left in the apartment in the house that’s been my home for almost 16 years.
10 for Dirk.
It’s bittersweet, and there is still so much to do… A friend is booking a U-Haul for us for Wed late afternoon/evening.
Tomorrow the building manager is supposed to call to set up the “in - inspection”. I’m hopeful I can get in there over the weekend, and start moving boxes Mon/Tue so that Wed it’s just the big stuff.
A couple ppl have offered to help with a load where they can for the box runs.
I also have to take some point next week to go to the DMV to get my ID updated as it’s actually expired..
Funny how D could update his motorcycle license on line, but I have to go to the damn offices to update my Id…
Got a Little more packed tonight. Basically random craft stuff and the trays and frying pans from under the stove.
Will have to smash out more this weekend.
Also the dryer died Sunday. No idea if fuckstick was actually in to fix it or not… And so now I’ll have to lug dirty laundry to the new unit.
D’s also having a change at work in hours.. HO wants them to extend for the holiday month, and most likely for the future as well, so his super convenient easy to remember schedule is going to be changing NEXT WEEK.....
Ugh.
At least I already got our bus passes sorted for December, as he’ll have to commute transit now as well.
Still wish we could have gotten the place behind the mall…
Oh well.
Having my last soak in the tub here because packing is stressing me out.. then have to also plan out outfits for the weekend, Saturday night is the haunted house volunteer party.
Try to get some if my clothes packed into the one suit case I own.. something to unpack at the new place early in the week to drag back for more packing into…
Then the following week is my work staff party. Bowling and dinner.. I’ll be at the second of my 3 craft shows that day, so will miss most of the bowling, and D will be at work, till who knows when as well…
I hate moving as it is, I hate moving even more over the holidays....
