So today is my first interview with HR recruiter for [shoe company], so I’m getting myself put together and ready for that. I thought that this was going to be a video conference, but all of my confirmations say that it’s going to be a phone interview. Hm.
Still, in my confirmation that I sent over there was the option of clicking on a camera - don’t you think that means video??
Ugh, you guys. I need to run and put some makeup on and zhuzh my hair just in case! Interviews can be tricky! During the last three video interviews I’ve had, only ONE interviewer actually put himself on camera. But you just never know. I better make sure I’m camera ready - the interview is in an hour.
But before I go, I just wanted to come on here and say that the head of HR at my #1 target company, you know the one I sent the presentation to yesterday? Well, she’s looked at my LinkedIn profile twice now! No phone calls or emails or smoke signals yet, but at least I know that I’ve gotten some attention!
