I live where I live because it’s affordable and most everything I need to get to is not far from me and it’s easy to get to. And I have been here for going on 7 or 8 years and the rent hasn’t gone up yet. But because of the rate of inflation and the issues this country is having my rent will be going up but only something like 2% because that is now the law.
Although I don’t know a lot of my neighbors I do know they are very quiet and there isn’t much noise. And the only bad thing that I am aware of has happened is that people have died because they were elderly. And there was one house that burned down up the block the other day but that is it and no one got hurt.
And where I live is very quiet because unless you are told you have no idea I live around the back and there has been no thefts. And the people who live around me are very quiet and I like that.
The thing about living anywhere is that who ever collects the rent can tell you you have to leave but here where I live the law is three months notice unless there is cause like not paying rent or growing pot or having loud parties but other then that one can stay till they want to move or they are asked to move. And she will either get too old or die and I don’t think that will be for a lot more years. But even then maybe the new people who buy this house will let us still stay.
But I am very happy here and for the most part I have a really good relationship with he landlady and she has never asked me for the rent because I always give it to her a week before it’s due.
What is it that attracted you to where you live? The color of the place? what amenities are near by? the travel distance to get to where you need to go? or something else?
Have you ever been back to your childhood home? I have a few times when I had a means of getting there and when I have been in the city. The house was still there and is still there but the rest of the area now has condos being built and the park across the street is still there and looks better then when I was growing up. And my school was only 3 blocks away so I could walk. And not far from there there was the children’s hospital but now there is condos.

Anyways that is enough about going down memory lane....
Onto something else…

So it is now raining here…I am so glad because it’s nice and cool and the heat won’t hit so hard. But it is still muggy feeling but that is okay and it’s a nice change. I wonder what it will be like weather wise in about two weeks? I bet you ten to one that it will be over 100 and I won’t be a happy camper. I really don’t like the hot or the cold so if it could be spring and fall all year I would be in heaven.

Onto something else…

Well I need to stop here…
I need more coffee and to get what I didn’t do yesterday done today before hubby gets home and then we will have pork chops and tomorrow I am thinking about a roast beef or maybe Monday.

Do have a great day…
Be Kind, Be Calm, Be Safe and Behave.

I live here because I am close to family and I love this area. I would prefer farther down south.
