It seems like every weekend and every holiday life does change a bit, but not for long. The time we spend rushing and doing things often just stops and then it feels like Al Bundy’s type of holidays where he puts a fence around the couch and has everything he needs for the time of his holidays. And no one is allowed to talk to him.
My holidays and weekends are not like that but it’s funny how different people do different things and they call that their routine. I like it when hubby is here because then I don’t talk to myself as much. And at least when I need to ask him something he will answer me.
Our weekends and holidays are always very quiet where we don’t do much except keep each other company. We don’t travel especially now because of the sky high prices and the threat of different types of Covid.
And just a side note here inflation has gone up 8% but next year and the year after it will go down to what it was before so it’s only for a while. And the Canadian bank rate went up to 2.5% so it looks like we will be spending more money and getting less.
And it seems like the airports are loosing peoples luggage because they are understaffed and maybe over worked.
But in the last few years I have no desire to travel or go anywhere I like it here in my very own space where I can do what I want when I want and I like that.

Onto something else…

The one thing I don’t get is when we vote for different governments we are always complaining about who is running and who gets elected. Why is that?
Unless you have the money and the experience to be a politician then you have no right to complain and you have no right to bad mouth them unless you are friends with them where you can actually talk to them and find out why they are doing what they are doing. But there is an exception to this especially if it has been proven like how Trump insulted the disables and the name calling of some countries. With Biden I think he is the better one because he is for the people and he is doing everything he can to make life better. And there are just some things he has no control over. But he can make whatever laws and such that apply to the federal government which is a lot better then nothing. I actually liked Obama also I thought he actually cared about the people too.
Canada’s government could be a lot worse also but for the most part we have someone who is maybe a bit too young and needs more experience but he probably knows just as much as an older politician because his father was Prime minister for a long time and growing up like that gives you a bit more experience. He isn’t perfect and people are getting tired of him and want a change but then there are some who will vote for him again because the other ones who will run are not good for the people.

Onto something else....

Today we might be going to one of my favorite malls to get hubby some new runners and some groceries so we will have what we need. I just hope it doesn’t rain all day. And if we don’t go today we will go tomorrow. But I won’t know for sure till hubby gets up and starts his day.
And dinner I think will be a roast with roasted potatoes and carrots.
Dinner last night was pork chops and white rice and green peas.
I think the creations that people create for their meals always sounds better then mine and I often picture what it is and always can taste it. But they do say just thinking about food you gain 10 pounds and smelling it you gain another 20 so maybe that is why I have a weight problem?

Onto something else…

I need to stop here…
Do have a great day…
Be Kind, Be Calm, Be Safe and Behave.

if you are informed you have a right to complain and you do it by mouth and by vote

Jodie theKat ⋅ July 20, 2022

but what if you don't vote then can you speak your mind?

you can always speak your mind but if you don't vote complaining does no good
