About a year ago I think I met the one. I finally met a person that made me smile, made me feel safe and loved me as much as I loved. We were so different yet so much alike. We had the same goals in life, had similar interests and most importantly very similar family views. Our up bringing was very different from one another. She was raised off faith and I was raised off of luck. I couldn't help but fall in love from the minute I met her. I knew it would be complicated. For one, we met at work. For two, I wasn't out yet. Well not in this city at least. Some of my family members knew, most didn't. 26 years old and I was lost with no direction. Had no idea if I was coming or going. I followed my heart and decided I was hers and she was mine. It was a storybook fairytale. Everything I ever wanted. Just a year later, I'm about to loose it all.
