I'm new to the site and learning the structure and feel for the place. I'm following over my friends from OD who I've come to know and love. I'm so glad that there is a place where people are updating again.
I was Nicole over at OD and I wrote for many years about my daughter, my boyfriend who was dragging his feet on getting married and the loss of my father & my relationship with my mother afterward. There was a lot of darkness in that journal but a lot of love and brightness as well.
I'm happy to say that Tommy and I will be celebrating our 8 year wedding anniversary next month. We've been together for a very long time and I'm so glad to know that isn't going to change.
My daughter who everyone has grown to know is now 19 years old and attending an awesome college here in Texas!
I've lost my mother & my brother so I am essentially the last member of my family and it's been an adjustment and something that I feel on a daily basis. But with the strong support of my husband and my daughter I've come to focus on what I do have and that is a fantastic feeling.
Life. Is. Good! I'm looking forward to sharing more about it and reconnecting with friends.
