Extra time. in These titles mean nothing.

It's Monday morning and somehow I seem to have a little extra time.
Now if I only had something to say.
I'm taking the Ice Cream Truck - the mint colored ex-Forest Service Chevy 3/4 ton pickup with the hugest engine and six speed transmission - to work today because Jim has the Buick in the Cities. Driving the ICT is always an adventure of some kind. I haven't have it to work since the weather got better - sometime in March I suppose.
I had a pretty quiet weekend. Did a little housecleaning - ha ha ha - and some laundry and I slept a lot. I don't know if I'm ready for the week or not.
Thursday is my birthday and it's the day the Red Cross is coming to the town where I work to collect blood. I plan to make an attempt at giving. I used to do it all the time but it's been a year since the last time.
Let's hope things go well this week. For me. For you. For us all.

Donating blood on your birthday seems like a really beautiful way to celebrate the day.

Nice pictures. I was hoping to see the 6-speed ICT with the big-ass engine, though. The green would fit right in.

I took photos of ferns in Prince Rupert.

I have another diary friend who has the tradition of donating blood on her birthday every year. I like it! The monochromatic green picture still has lots of interest and depth. I'm so glad leaves are green and not another colour. It's just right. :)

I am so grateful to folks who give blood. I wish I could. My sister had a massive transfusion that took almost all day about a month ago. The gift of more days for a stranger. I hope your birthday was lovely and that the truck behaved.

Forgot the ICT was formerly a forest service worker, no wonder it is green.
