It has been thundering and turning dark but it does that everyday. Then it rains somewhere else. I got invited to a b-day party tonight - a 50'th one for a friend of mine who always has terrific parties. His name is Jon and he and his partner are awesome. We will see. I am wore out by my work week. Who knows once this storm passes I may venture out they live close by and there home is so beautiful.
Thank goodness I am off today and the next two days from the alf. Last night was exhausting. I can not physically move 2 residents. One is paralyzed from the kneck down but not in a stiff way more in a floppy way. Which is actually easier but still too big for me to move. The other is a tall woman who has no communication, no movement and just can't move or eat and she dosn't have bed rails. I need bed rails just so I can lean her on one side or the other without the fear of her falling on the floor while I change her ect. Ugh. Then Pat who is total alz. and kept messing with my med cart ~ cups, med cups, water. No. At first I was nice then I just yelled at her. Sorry but after the 10'th time just stop it dammit. Did one shower and no laundry. When the 11:00 woman came in she was pissed that I didn't do the table cloths and napkins. No. Your lucky I get done what I do. You have 8 hours of limited patient care. O! Then there is the incident of the act. director. She's wacked. I was bored one night on the first floor ( the only time since I started there) and looked in a cup and found 2 keys. Fine. I just looked and put it back. Last night while I was looking up residents on the mars the act. dir. came up to me and asked me about the keys. At first I had no idea what she was talking about. She goes " so the person who told me is lying" who in the fuck cares? Go a way. Ugh.
Monday I go to an agency downtown which is close and sighn up with them. I am going to give the alf. my two week notice and tell both angies to please fill my schedule just leave room for my Lil Lady and the Vet. and go from there. Why suffer when I don't have too? I learned my lesson and now it's time to move on.
Going to get a shower and see how I feel. So far no rain just thunder and it can do that for hours. We will see said the blind man to the deaf cat.
