It’s Tuesday.
My oncology appointment isn’t until tomorrow, but the oncology nurse called me earlier to see if I could have a virtual appointment instead of an in-person appointment. I said that I wanted to come into the office to have my blood drawn (since it’s been a while since we’ve checked my thyroid functions and I asked my PCP to do a celiac panel, etc.), so I asked if it was ok that I still had an in-person appointment, and she said yes, that would be fine.
But she ran something past me really quickly before we went through all of that discussion. She ran it by me so fast I almost missed it - my scans are CLEAR, y’all! No sign of cancer! Again! Scan #2 is alllll clear! Only 4 more years of this to go…
So for all of the gut pain I had back in December, there’s really no explanation. The good news is that I no longer have that pain, and the BEST news is that I have NO NEW CANCER!
It’s interesting that I haven’t had any alcohol since I last felt my gut pain. And I have been fasting either intermittently or through the Prolon system since January 4th, with maybe two days off plan and I haven’t had any gut pain at all! Now I realize that this is only two weeks, but two weeks is two weeks pain-free, so I must be doing something right there. Right?
Anyway, I’m not going to announce my clear scans on the socials until after I see Hot Oncologist tomorrow, so you get the sneak peek! I mean, I say I won’t announce it until after I see him, but I may not be able to hold in this excitement. We’ll see. But I couldn’t hold it in any longer!!
