I walked the kids early this morning before it got up to 90 degrees. Casie has a horrible habit of eating crap ( and she eats that too - Yuck ) and this morning she found some wings that once belonged to a bird and was chewing on them. Ugh. I had to dig them out of her mouth. The rest of the day she spent lying on the floor with tummy troubles. You could hear your tummy growl, gurgle and bubble sounds. I gave her ice water and told her to rest and she did. She has done this since she was young. As a small dog I knew she was abused and had food issues. She has eaten more stuff in her life than I can make a list at. Dead fish, anything and everything on the sidewalk. One day her head was turned sideways and I bent down and here she had a half of a sub in her mouth that she didn't want me to see. I love her more than life itself but on days like this I lay down beside her on the cold tile floor with dog hair, acorns and sand and tell her I love her. Whadda ya gonna do?
I had the day off and it was spent on the phone and the IRS. They never received my cashiers check. I didn't want a personal check sitting out there and I do have the copy somewhere in all my packed up stuff. Called the bank and there going to send me the copy and then I will proceed and call the irs with the numbers so they so despertly need in order to see that yes I really did pay them there $84. By the way the wait time for the irs is a half hour.
Last night I did my floor for the first time in a long time. We had state come in not too long ago I don't know how they missed these people. They can not move, talk or anything and we an ALF. You have to move and talk and pivot. We are an assisted living not a nursing home. I have 3 peeps who can escape at a blink of an eye. We had a meeting. Loretta who is blind and mean as cat shit while being bat shit at the same time wanted me to call her Miss Loretta. No. I was with Kay when she had to take care of Big Mama ( 400+ pounds easy ) and she got all angry when Kay told no she has to clean her own gentials. I nearly fell over thank goodness the counter was there. Then I heard a noise. Just a small noise like a mouse would make. I had to go an investigate and get out of Big Mama's room. Here it was Charlie. He just got back from where ever he was at some nursing home somewhere coming down the hall naked. Ugh. The night before he tried to get out of bed and fell. Of course skin tears everywhere. There were the of us on that night thank goodness he is lite. Had to call hospice. He thought it was a.m. What a mess. I know what I must do and will do. Just have to figure out a time frame. For whatever reason I was so tired today. Never really woke up. I did make a good meal. Pizza. I get a Publix frozen 4 cheese pizza which I added shrooms, zuchinni, red onion and basil. Pretty good if I do say so myself. I also bought some apricots. Love those. Never did before but I am older now and really enjoy them. Got 2 more days a head of me then off for 3 thank goodness. Not going to be out of bed long.
