I got home from work and the tv is on the discovery channel and is the stories these men are telling about the vietnam war. I am saddened and amazed. Forgetting to breath. I was a young kid while this was going on I had no idea what all this entailed. O, these poor men well actually they were young kids. 19, 20 year olds. Very intense, very sad yet I can't stop listening to the stories. How can I? They get off the Pan Am plane to come home to alot of hate and meaness. They got spit on and garbage threw at them. How sad. Here these young men were fighting for their country and this is how we treated them? Sad.
I thanked the rest of the men today that I seen for fighting in WW2. They appreciated it. I shook their hands. One nice lady loves it when I put lotion on her before bed. She told me I treat her like royalty. I told her she deserved it. She makes cards. Not just cards. Beautiful cards that belong like in shadow boxes. These cards are detailed in 3'd such as birds or flowers. I am so scattered tonight. Tired. I better get to bed. I have 2 tom. then the alf. Off wed. work th. and fri. then have off sat. sun. and monday. I will need it.
