I was sitting in the passenger seat as Nils drove us home from Michigan/Minnesota yesterday, and suddenly thought about how I hadn’t entered in this journal for a long time. Imagine my surprise when I checked, and it was almost 5 years! Wow.

2022 is a new year, and so much has changed in that time. I’m now a resident in Florida..have a dream (100% remote) job, and am settled in my pre-retirement life. I’m still not what I would consider ‘happy’ or ‘fulfilled’. I still am sad about not being a grandmother, and I long for a closer relationship with my kids, but I’m healthy, financially stable, and ready to take some steps to bring some purpose or meaning into my life, aside from the 9-5 grind to pay the bills.

Step 1…try to journal a few days a week. Make actionable plans and then follow up. Here we go! Happy New Year!-
