Here I go again... in Dana Bell

Life is busy when you have an almost 18 month old. Well, life is busy when you have a child at any age if we're going to be completely honest. So, yes, I'm a mom. Also, a wife. I love my life, family, and am the happiest I've ever been. That's saying something. I've always struggled with depression although it wasn't until after my daughter was born that I dealt with it. (i.e, hello, zoloft) I had an online diary I kept up with for 10+ years. Open Diary shut down a few months ago and I never really quite got back into documenting how my days came and went. I'd like to change that.

My husband is someone I grew up with over the years. I met him in high school. In short, he was my high school sweethearts best friend. It wasn't until our early twenties that we started dating. We've had our bumps in the road but we've found our happily ever after. We've been married 3 years. He's my best friend even if we don't always understand each other, we stand by each other. He's always supported me, loved me, and taken care of me.

My daughter is both beautiful and amazing. Over the past couple of weeks she has become a little chatterbox. More likely, a parrot, repeating most of what we say. She has a love for Elmo I'll never understand. In fact, she sometimes calls me Elmo. It's always "Hi, Elmo!". She's the reason I smile so often these days.

I'm mostly a stay at home mom. From time to time I work a couple of days a week for a few hours (for our business). My main "job" is supplying juice boxes, changing diapers, and playing with baby dolls and blocks.

I suppose that's all I have for today. Even if it wasn't a lot. I'm finally saving an entry so that's progress!
