My second son which I will call (2) has been so cute lately with his "I did it, Mommy! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah!" Everything he does on his own he does a little booty shaking dance and yells that. When we go grocery shopping he is no longer content to stay in the cart anymore either. He has to get out and be the one to take the product off the shelf and put it into the cart. I usually go grocery shopping Monday mornings now because the pregnancy has me way too tired to go midnight shopping on Sunday nights. When we get to an isle that there is another child in he has to dance for the kid and sing "oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah!". It's really weird and I'm not sure why he does it but it happens everytime now.
My oldest son had a Kindergarten field trip to the public library today. They got to check out the library and watch a puppet show. Back when me and my Bro were in school you would get your very first Library card during a Kindergarten field trip but I doubt that will happen for (1). Now you don't just fill out a form and get a library card, you actually have to show your ID to verify your name and address and and they scan it and all that. So I doubt that (1) will be coming home with his own library card today, although it would be nice because then I could use my own card for my own crap. :)
My boy cat died last Monday. He was sick for like two days. I left him alone and I figured he'd get over it because my girl cat has gotten sick a few times and if you just leave her alone she is better in a few days and is back to normal. Well apparently that was not the case for boy cat. He slept on the rug in front of my sink for a day and then the next night when we got home from soccer practice he was dead in front of the couch in the play room. Very odd. We buried him next to my fat cat in the back yard. (1) picked a brick out of the brick pile and said "this can be his grave stone" and then after Hubby buried (1) and (2) picked some flowers and put them on the stone. When I told (1) it was nice of him to do that he said "I did it because I love all my animals" which I thought was very sweet. :)
Well I gotta start the stew for tonight's dinner so it's perfect by the time Hubby comes home tonight. Stew is an all day affair. :)
