I've just spent the evening making two batches of soap, one batch of unscented coconut milk, and one batch of Orange and Tea Tree. I made my very first batch last week, and it went nearly perfectly. I'm hooked! I'm only sad that I have to wait 4 weeks or so for it to properly cure before I can use it.
Logan turned three last Saturday. Hard to believe my baby is almost a preschooler! He is potty learning, and actually using the potty about 30% of the time without prompting. I think in another couple of weeks he will have mastered it. Gummy bears are coming in handy as potty time rewards. :)
I think I wrote last time about applying for a position with one of my foermer employer's competitors. I had a phone interview last Friday and it went very well. There are still two more steps between me and an in person interview, an online personal reference survey, and an online assessment of some sort. I've finished my part in the online reference survey, so I'm just waiting on the recruiter to email me with instructions for the next step. I'm optimistic, and looking forward to a face to face interview. This break has been nice, but I do miss the work.
Well, heading to bed now. So many things to do tomorrow!
