I admit to reading most of the Washington Post and the New York Times yesterday instead of sewing. They both offered a dollar a month subscription fee, and I grabbed it. But other interesting news sources abound from fellow bloggers. What I consider news you may not:

Wonderful photos of a mother’s home after her death.

• “L’shana tova tikatevu” – may you be inscribed in the Book of Life and have a good year.

From Dear Abby comes the reminder that tonight begins the holiday of Rosh Hashana.

From my friend Bobbie comes the news that: The horned man of the Capitol Riots, “QAnon shaman” Jacob Chansley, is headed for a good, long stay in prison.

Jessie Jackson’s wife is out of the hospital.

The hurricane, flood, war exit, and disaster news has a tendency to sweep away all other things. I’m sure you have found your own news niche, she writes waving at you. If you want me, you can find me at my sewing machine.

Jacob Chansley in his full Q-regalia was a semi-regular figure on the University of Arizona campus. They kicked him off campus a couple times. When I saw him on TV January 6th, I hollered "OH SHIT! I know that guy!"
Arizona. Figures.

I’m glad you enjoyed the Texas photographer’s photos of his mother’s home. That was so poignant and unforgettable for me.

I have so many good news sources, I am overwhelmed. Sometimes I wish I could narrow it down to five I’d go to every day and that’s it. Dream on!!

I love that Stanley Tucci series...I think I've watched every one that is out. Thanks for the reminder that there is non-apocalytic non-crisis news to be had.
