"My Perfect Song" - 6/8/2004
i figured i'll put some of my poetry on my diary over time, so incase i lose it, it'll still be here later on :) and i'd love to share it with you guys as well.
MY PERFECT SONG
Here it begins, my perfect song This presence of mind is where I belong I drift away slowly as I hear the tune In a moment of bliss I will be soon
The vivid music sets alight my mind It talks about life, about mankind It makes me realise, although it may seem Creating my life is living a dream
Im a piece of the puzzle in this jumbled-up world Nobody knew if I'd be boy or girl A part of this life, a grain of mind sand A pattern of happiness, so high in demand
I look for in others what they look for in me Lovingness, willfulness and inner beauty Life's an abbreviation, too long to spell Love, Inspire, Fulfil and Excel
I'm music in a song, genre of my choice I listen silently and there is a voice I'm happy and healthy and just move my feet I listen intently and I hear the beat
I'm a part of a song that everyone sings I can live the lives of queens and kings This is a time where nothing is wrong Simply because this is my perfect song

Awwww...I love it! That was really good! I wish I could write poetry like that. Poetry has never really been my thing. I'm more of a short story and essay type of person, but have always wanted compose a good poem. Anyway, you're from Austrailia huh? Good times! I've always wanted to go to the land down under! I hope everything else is fabulous! See ya!
