Applied for a job. Said they would contact me to schedule a phone interview soon. I feel… reticent about it, but the pay’s decent and the benefits are good. Hours are weird but not the worst for me I’ve been able to take more time off than I thought, and absence has not made the heart grow fonder of the idea of work. Something that paid a little worse and was a little closer might be more ideal as well…
This new apartment we might go to is a little pricier than I would like ideally, but our rent is going up an insane amount for this tiny spot next year, and compared to the raise it’s not that much more for much more apartment. Plus, no formal application process is a plus. I think Elliot will be a decent landlord. The sun room would be a great spot to set up the wheel, and the garage would give us a lot of extra storage space. Also I’d be close to the studio, though I haven’t been talking to Z too much. Still, I’m sure I could work something out.
Oh, a lot of yard too! Which didn’t register when we first walked up because of the property layout, but would be super nice for just hanging out, doing some stretching, and also could be good for taking pictures with natural light. For a year, probably 2 at most, and then? I dunno. We talk about moving to a new state. I’m excited for the possibility.
