Welp, we’ve broken $700!
I mass sent out the link to ppl through FB messenger yesterday with a note to simply share. A few responded by simply sharing, a couple more donated, which was great, but it was mostly shares I was looking for, not guilt donations. Still, it helped get more out there. One friend said she had shared it to some other ppl who are looking into ways to get more help.
Fingers crossed.
Mom msg’d today to ask me to for another # to an electrician a friend had recommended, because hers has gone MIA.
I finally got a hold of her area counceller yesterday as well, and he said he would see what he could do. Not holding out much hope though.
My friend who suggested contacting him said to keep pushing though, because that is why he is in the role he’s in. To help ppl in the community. Said I would give it a day or two, see if she mentions he’s been in touch or not. He lives just up the road from her, so we’ll see!
Got my first Jab yesterday. Arm is hella sore today, but that seems about it. Second one is scheduled for September, but they are apparently pushing second doses ahead, so may be getting my second in august instead.
