On today’s episode of Should Have Stopped At One Kid: miss 12 kicked a hole in her sisters door because sister failed to suggest a new anime for her to watch, even though she did suggest an anime and Miss 12 just said “no” to that and proceeded to deadpan stare while kicking a hole in the door, causing distress, and generally being a psychopath I suppose.

I’m at the point where maybe she needs to be committed because I literally have no other options. No family, no one willing or able to take her on, no friends in the state… NDIS is under appeal so we can’t get a support worker so she isn’t alone or alone with only her sister while I work. Father seems to think it’s no big deal. In the interim we are just on countless waiting lists for therapies and support. Knives, blades, scissors, anything remotely weapon-like has been locked away… cutting veggies is a tiresome exercise lately. Can’t risk her self harming again or worse, her sister :(
Had to give the older child 3mg valium to help her calm down after her sister thrashed at her door screaming at her to go kill herself… and this just when I went to buy cat food. Like it wasn’t an extended period under extenuating circumstances where stress may be heightened.
So now I have to try and reinforce to the older one not to tolerate that bullshit from ANYONE, and somehow ensure she feels safe, and not let the little one turn into the new Edmund Kemper at the same time.
Fuck parenting. Cross your legs guys, this shit is stressful.
