Fluttering Like Snow in A Book of Poems

My memories are like snow
Fluttering flakes fall but don’t stick
Melted on the dirt as soon as it lands
Gone in an instant to be evaporated

Others memories are like snow
Flurries stick to the freezing ground
Frolicking in their happiest
But never escaping from the bitter cold

Who is lucky I wonder?
Is it better to remember the good
Or easier to forget the bad?
