I Only Had Two Hands in Thirty-Six

I just heard “I tried carrying the world, but I only had two hands”. And if I don’t feel this right now.

These last couple weeks have been ROUGH. But I’m still here. Things are moving along as usual.

We did get the car fixed…though he didn’t do the shocks like he originally said he was going to do, which is fine. So we only owe him like $42, rather than another $500.

We’ve dealt with the shitty shocks since we got it in September, so, yeah. It’s running, that’s all that matters. AND We have air conditioning. haha. fuck man.

So we’ll be working on getting the shocks done in the near future....but yeah. we have a vehicle again.

Ummmm I got slammed in the entire asshole with a really nasty Trigeminal Neuralgia flare, coupled with the horrendous migraine that always goes with it. I actually had the migraine for two days beforehand, but didn’t think much of it. Those are pretty normal. Plus its getting hot. We had a couple near 100 days already.

So Friday and Saturday of Last week I was completely on my ass, throwing up, crying, shitting, eating, crying and just doing all the good stuff that comes along with these flares/migraines. If you have TikTok, you can follow along there (@sephers). I woke up Friday morning and it felt like there had been hot grease splashed all over my face and neck on the left side. My shoulders were super tight and my spine felt like a rubber band waiting to snap.

I spent most of the day in bed and then just kinda meandered along the rest of the day. Saturday I felt a tiny bit better and we went and did grocery shopping, which sucks big donkey ass wearing a mask while in the middle of a TN flare, let me tell you. But we managed. Got groceries and all that good stuff.

We’ve been playing a few different co-op games too. Rogue Stormers, Fat Princess, Streets of Rage, Hell Divers....so that’s been a lot of fun. He also downloaded a new VR game called Paper Beast and it was a lot of fun. I need to go back and explore more and discover all the other beasts and find other plants and stuff. It was a lot of fun. Kind of terrifying at certain points because of darkness and VR, and/or things flying at me unexpectedly. blah haha.

I got my first vaccine on Monday. Had a sore arm for about 8 hours max and didn’t have any other side effects, so that’s good. From what I understand, if you were exposed to COVID at any point, with the Moderna Vax anyway, that you’d most likely have a reaction to the vaccine. So that’s a plus. We’ve been super careful this whole time.

Randy had some side effects, but he also had an ear infection, his kidneys were bothering him (he has chronic kidney stones, he sees a urologist on Tuesday), and his foot was hurting because of his drop foot. This was before he got is AFO. So he had A LOT going on that just dragged him down lol ugh poor guy. The 2nd one wasn’t bad at all for him. Kind of like my first, so hopefully the 2nd one doesn’t knock me on my ass. I know both brothers were under the weather for a couple days after their 2nd. Dad was kinda feeling poopy too after his 2nd for a day or so, but nothing too terrible. I think Matt said he was feverish and whatnot for like 3 days after. But that’s where I got the info about being exposed, because Matt never got COVID, but being a nurse, and working 8 days in a row there for a while at the beginning of the pandemic, he was definitely exposed.

So yeah. uhmmmm lets see what else is going on. I don’t think anything else has really happened other than that. I started working on a carnation drawing. I’m gonna do a few different things with the carnations in the next couple weeks.

June 2nd is five fucking years since my mom died you guys. How the fuck is that even fucking possible. just don’t even know. I wanted to try and get up to Taos in June, but we have way too much going on the first couple weeks, so we’ll try August for Dad’s birthday and their anniversary. They would have celebrated 47 years married. God, I’m crying now.

Anywho, so I’m working on my own tattoo design that I’ll get from Marcus when we go to get Randy’s I think he feels bad that he has a design for a tattoo with Marcus and I don’t, so I’m looking for something small to do. haha. oh goodness.

What else has happened. Randy is moving along slowly on his painting commission. I say slowly but he’s getting them done pretty quickly. He’s done like two or three a day. I think he has like 35 or more to paint. They look so good.

I’ve been sitting here with this entry open for a couple hours now, I should probably end it.
