The central part of the park, called the Prado, is lined with Spanish style arcades. In some of them the buskers hide away in the shade. Sometimes they sit outside in the sun like this artist is doing. She must be new as she didn’t bring much to sell or anything to sit on.

This guy was one of the best I heard in the park. He hit every note right on.

Just peeking in to the courtyard at the House of Hospitality. There’s a small coffee shop to the right, and to the left is the Information booth for the park. In the center of the patio is the sculpture “Woman of Tehuantepec” by Donal Hord.

The colonnades of the Organ Pavilion host all sorts of things on a weekend. Here two women dance near the organ. There are live concerts every Sunday once again on this the largest outdoor organ in the world.

At the other end of the right colonnade a photographer takes photos for a Quinceanera. The fifteen year old is resplendent in red. Very unusual.

Heading back to the newly tiled Automotive Museum, I caught this fiddle player charming the little girl with his music and tap dancing.

Out in the sunshine, tables lie with jewelry and small art. There are little tents with everything from painted glassware to colorful paintings.

I arrived back at my truck just in time to see the last of twenty some Ferrari’s leave for their homes. The Ferrari Club brought their cars today, and these offered the best of all worlds for a brief few hours.

  • Himself: Swam this morning. Now he’s out in space.
  • Myself: The doc has me on Lazix.
  • Reading: JA Jance
  • Watching: KPBS, ABC and NBC.
  • Photo: Mine taken this last Sunday.
  • Gratitude’s: Making it to the ladies room on time.

That new artist isn’t going to sell much with her nose stuck in her phone all the time!! Had to look up Quinceanera - interesting they decide 15 is the age for making the transition to adulthood - seems very young to me. Gorgeous dress though!
