First off, let me state I am no more qualified to give marriage advice than I am to treat you for cancer. I can only speak from experience and somedays that may not be advisable. Someone once accused me of being jaded. Me? Jaded? So I looked it up. Jaded: tired, bored, or lacking enthusiasm, typically after having had too much of something.
Looking back perhaps that someone was right! When it comes to dealing with the fairer(?) sex I am tired, bored, and lacking enthusiasm. This whole Venus/Mars mentality drives me to drink! I believe a woman should be paid the same as a man, and I will admit some women are just as capable if not more capable of doing the same things men do.
This is an observation, not an inditement. All women are crazy to a certain degree, men just have to decide what degree of crazy they are willing to put up with. Why would I say that you ask? (you did ask) The hormones and personality swings in a month’s time make a man wonder, who the heck did I marry? One day she is Cinderella, another Sleeping Beauty, and yet another, Cruella de Vil. Little did the man know he was marrying someone with multiple personalities.
Granted if I had to spend one day inside a woman’s mind, I’d most likely want to kill all men. You have the ability to do 10 things at once and wonder why when you told us two weeks ago we had tickets to a concert, we look at you like, you never told me! Unless I am looking straight at you, with no other distractions around, I never hear you. Oh, I may nod my head in agreement, but if the ball game is on, I am not sure you were even in the same room.
So let me close with this, taken from the movie FireProof. “A woman is like a rose. If you treat her right she will bloom, if you don’t she’ll wilt.”
