Second opinion and more testing in Daily life

Had an appointment with the oncologist/gynecologist my regular gyno recommended and after meeting with him, I am going to have him do the surgery. His approach is as the first doctor but I just felt really comfortable with him. It isn’t that I didn’t like the dr that I saw in the hospital nor his associate but I felt they kept focusing on my need to have the hysterectomy and weren’t really hearing me about the pain that brought me to the hospital and that I had talked to my regular gynecologist about having that surgery. Surgery still scheduled for the 26th but at a different hospital. He was very apologetic that his staff dropped the ball in calling me sooner—in fact he apologized twice. He did schedule me for an appointment with the oncologist I had when I had the breast cancer for a bone marrow biopsy because my white blood count was really high and that is on Wednesday . The oncologist that I saw in the hospital wasn’t too concerned about my white blood count because it had come down some but while she ordered more testing, she didn’t say anything about a bone marrow biopsy. Again, she seemed more focus on my uterus and kept saying I had uterine cancer which none of the oncologists/gynecologists have said.

I still have that terrible pain from right by my left breast, then travels to my shoulder and neck and right now I feel it in my back. My family dr had put me on prednisone and the first three days it was great but then it started up again. The oncologist/gynecologist called in a script for oxycodone 5 mgs since the muscle relaxers and Tylenol aren’t really cutting it. He also referred me to a pain management group.

Oh, the cook at work had his Covid test come back positive so everything is back to square one. He was vaccinated and is super careful but he tested positive. I was tested again Thursday and I was negative. They will test again Tuesday.
