Worried in Daily life

Saw the hematologist yesterday and he was very reassuring that a bone marrow biopsy was not needed at this time. He had the lab report from when I was in the hospital and it was negative for leukemia and lymphoma. I had to get another blood test today for surgery and I just got a call from his office that my white blood cells are now higher than when I was on the hospital so he has decided to do a bone marrow biopsy Tuesday morning. The momentary relief I felt yesterday has disappeared. I am really worried now.

Let's wait and see what the results say. For now, today, you are okay. 90% of what we worry about never happens. Hopefully, and with lots of prayers, it'll be an easy fix. Sending love and prayers.

Your concerns are valid but I think it's important not to project too much too soon. Let's first find out what's going on before getting you tied in knots over something that may or may not need fixing. That's the way I'm steering my thoughts for you.
