Tornados. Notice the lack of exclamation? Well there is one, a lack. I missed the local news giving helpful tips last night, things like how not to pull over under an overpass. It’s a bit like the emergency broadcast system; people driving during a tornado probably aren’t watching TV, and people watching TV during an emergency, like say a power outage, aren’t either. Good thing I already know about them.
That’s my weather report.
In related news I’m probably allergic to Michigan. I swore I was going to do things today; I never got around to them or even it (I’m using it as a singular of them, I don’t really know what the singular of potentiality unmet might be, seems it is the word). I think I look a little mad, as in crazy not angry. My hair is allergic to my head and I’ve worn pajama like things for two days to keep my laundry from catching cooties.
I had a two year jump on getting Michigan plates (ok, so it’s only one plate, it’s a bit weird actually, there are cars made without front plate holders for here. I guess there are other states that only have back plates, I haven’t been paying attention. In 78, the last time I needed Michigan plates there were two of them.). Now I’m almost out of time.
I did manage to do a few things today; I made coffee. I made cereal. I thought about bacon flavored e-juice and who might the demographic be for that (e.g. people who wanted to quit smoking because tobacco wasn’t meaty enough?). I watched some episodes of Season Two of Lie to Me. I scratched a bit and coughed up a hair ball or two. It’s pushing seven in the effing PM, shit, six fortyish, and I started off with tornados and that brings us to the immediate present.
Ok, it just brings me to the present; I honestly don’t know where the hell you are. On a day like today I’m not a hundred percent you even exist. I might be feverish or six feet under, this could be my life flashing before my eyes in real time, too scale. I mean shit; I thought about smoking bacon e-juice, does that sound like the pattern of a sane man’s thoughts?
Oh I talked to people today, people I like. Ok, two people, still, it’s plural and it counts. I mean I didn’t just talk to a peep or a potential pee.
Oh Look, tornados.
