One month and research in A Day in the Life of Me

So only one more month left of work and then we shut the doors for good (to the public feb 23, for us 5 days after). I honestly do not know how I am going to last that long without going off on someone.... that being said, I am surprised I haven’t already.
We still have not heard anything about the settlements. But I am thinking that it will be the bare minimum they can get away with, which for me and E is about 4 weeks worth of pay. Woop.... our 7 years boiled down to one months worth of wages after you pull the rug out from under us.... guess I should be happy they are giving us something.
Was bored and unable to sleep in bed the other night, so was looking up things I had heard about First time home buyers loans from the Gov.
To say the max allowance on what the home would cost is a bit sad, yea thanks for giving us the Min (5%) requirement for the down payment, via an interest free loan, but the max allowance for said home is only 280,000 which is equal to getting either a bare bones condo (ugh) , or on the outskirts of the city, which is where I DON’T want to be as we A) don’t have a car (yet) and I don’t even drive.
That being said, I did find a couple cute properties, within the max, a couple condos, a couple major fixer-upers, and a cute bungalow.
But all that would have to wait until I get back to work and actually get settled into a job, and the paperwork for the loan would probably require me having been there at least a year, so looks like none of this would be happening for at least two years anyway.... unless I win the lotto HAHAHAH!

A girl can dream.

You can do it, every day you work is one day less that you have to deal with these awful people!

I’m always planning what to spend my lottery win on as well lol.

I'm hoping we run out of stock and get to close a few days early...lol
