10 Super Random Things, In No Particular Order in These Foolish Things

1. Ugh, Friday. It’s the end of a long, hard workweek, and having to have a CYA meeting with Boss and two of the people who support me (remember, Boss won’t let me have a staff any more) was the cherry on this shit sundae of a week. I am almost out of here. Fuck this.

2. The gallon-o-water a day is still happening. I’m on Day 5, and my poops are not as spectacular as they were on Mon, Tues and Wed, but I’ll report back next week as well. Also, already don’t seem to be peeing as much. Do you think my body’s already adjusted?

3. It’s the end of Friday and I never, ever heard from SS about going out this week. I know it seems like I’m dwelling on it, but I’m not - just pointing out what a pussy the dude is. Like, true wuss.

4. My lunchtime walk area seems to have turned into a covid vaccination destination. I’ve had to find other places to walk the last couple of days, and I’m not one iota mad about it. Keep those vaccines rolling!

5. I dressed kinda cute today and did something different with my hair and it made all of the difference in the world to my attitude (until Boss got hold of me, that is). I am going to make it a point to dress as cute as I can daily for the next two weeks and see how it affects my moooooood.

6. Speaking of the next two weeks, on Monday I’m starting a two week healthy habit kickstart program that includes intensifying my workouts and cutting booze, sugar (first week) AND gluten (second week). Can I do this? I’m probably going to drink about it this weekend. Heh.

7. Dad’s BDay is on Sunday. I’m going to visit him tomorrow since it’s supposed to be wintry weather on his actual day. He’s going to be 82! And he’s doing better than he was last year, that’s for sure. There was a good year and a half where I was afraid he wasn’t going to be around much longer. Now, though he’s getting a bit frail, I feel less worried.

8. I want to experiment with natural looking false eyelashes. Anybody have any recommendations? I used to play around with dramatic-looking falsies and they look too fake on my eyes. Since we all have to wear masks anytime we go out, I want something that will enhance my eyes yet look natural. I have pretty heavy eyelids, so. I’m just not sure. Don’t know if I trust the google machine.

9. My LinkedIn profile has been getting a little bit of action. I can tell folks are looking at my profile, but I haven’t gotten any bites yet. Maybe I’ll do some updating over the weekend.

10. Somebody please tell me your favorite things to make in your air fryer!! This is the one that I have.
