CHRISTMAS LIGHTS in Postcards 4

We snuck out last night to see the lights. I know…we are supposed to be locked down, but I am very glad we went. There were more houses with lights than we ever remember seeing before. Very uplifting these small displays. We weren’t out long, but we came home grinning.

Most all of one street, Newport Ave on the block above the business district, was decorated by one person. Tune to 59.5, or whatever it was, and the lights danced to the Christmas music. We parked at two different spots and watched the block long stretch of lights dance and sing to the music. Singing along ourselves for a while too.

Many houses had lights…even if it was just one string of lights. All over Point Loma and OB, lights blossomed in places we had never before see lights. In this time of Covid, this Holiday experience has been the most positive thing ever.

how delightful, surely viewing Christmas lights form your car is allowed. I cannot believe YOU are not READING anything. Surely that will change soon.

Love the photo - we're driving to look at lights too. We take different routes to the grocery store to see different neighborhoods.
Are you watching this season of GBBS, or the holiday specials?

We are still in season 7.

There are definitely more lights in evidence this year than before - it’s very cheering! :)
