HE BOUGHT THE RING!!!
I’ll elaborate more in a moment. I haven’t written for so long for three reasons - one, Covid is still imposing restrictions but we are still able to go out and about to a few places but nothing really exciting, also we have to make sure Noelle is safe. Two - Because of that, not much has been happening, and three - we’ve had quite a lot of really hot weather and it’s worn me out to the point where I just want to sit back and do nothing.
Right then on to the big breaking news!
After two evenings of pyrotechnics last week, several storms rumbling by on Wednesday night, which went mega spectacular at 1am Friday morning when the sky almost exploded with lightning and torrential rain, which was quite exciting to watch, Friday was a much nicer day temperature wise, even if we did have more thunder at breakfast time!
Tom finished up early on Friday and nipped off out, came back an hour later and we went down to the river where he produced a small box… with a ring in it!
Of course I said yes! And I feel much more confident this time round too!
No imminent wedding bells - not until Covid is over at least. And/or I start work too. It’s difficult trying to find something at the moment that fits in with what I have studied and allows me to work at home in these strange times.
And a funny thing about when he proposed… almost to the minute it was exactly six years after I had lost my virginity… one anniversary I won’t forget! I might recap my six years as a woman soon, and compare to how I thought it would be at this stage!
Hope everyone is staying safe!
