… best movie I’ve seen in a long time. Of course I almost never watch movies but that doesn’t matter much.
Keep your eyes open for the BMW porn.
It’s a Roman Polanski movie from around 2010 - filmed mostly on the German island Sylt - because Polanski could not come to the US without being arrested for sex crimes.
Still it is a beautiful movie. Crisp and real.
Sex and the City’s Kim Cantrell has a part that she is no doubt proud of. Same for Pierce Brosnan.
And the house. OMG, the house.
If you skip the ads, they are less irritating.

For a second I thought they'd made a movie from Ghostwriter, the '90s children show, and then I saw the cover.
Actually I kinda still want it to be a gritty remake of that show starring Incredibly Dramatic Actors.

Funny because when I saw the title I thought it was a movie of a Philip Roth novel and it definitely wasn't. Maybe I liked it because it wasn't what I thought it would be. No or fewer preconceptions.
