"FATIGUE" in "RESTLESS: POETICALLY-SPEAKING"

Every day is basically the same.
We’ve become hamsters in our own spinning wheels.
It’s the familiar, boring game.
We’re going round and round on our heels.

The world’s become a scarier place.
Leaving home means being uncertain
of all the things to face,
so we’re stuck where we’ve been.

Sleepless nights,
sleepy days.
Will it be alright?
Will we be okay?
Fatigue is something real.
Let’s not deny how we feel.

Keep hanging on
and move forward.
Don’t look back.
The past can be a black hole.
Don’t stand so close
or it’ll suck you in.
You might easily disappear.
