Cannon has been saying "I did it" for the past few days! It's not very clear at all, but I can tell that's what he is trying to say. It sounds more like "ah-dee-eh!" He only says it after he accomplishes something and he throws his hands in the air and gets excited. Gah, he's so adorable!

We went to the park today and he tried to play with the preschool aged girls that were there also. He followed them and tried to do what they were doing. He just loves kids. I definitely need to expose him to more environments with kids in them. He's a very social boy and gets very excited and happy around other kids.

I said that I'd look for part-time daycare for him in the fall... I guess I still stand by that, but maybe I'm not the one that's ready for it. I feel nervous about putting him in daycare before he can talk. I need to know that my son is happy and being treated well. I'm not saying most daycares are bad.. I worked in one, and we were all nice to the kids (although not everyone did as much with the kids as I would have liked). I'm just paranoid. I know there are people who aren't nice and that's what worries me.

Thankfully, my cousin runs an in home daycare and both the kids will be there. I can't imagine having to interview strangers to watch my kids. I would quit my job and be a SAHM because I'd be too scared to leave them. I'm very lucky!

Day care would be scary. I bet your motherly instincts would kick in if something was amiss. He's been communicating to you sans words since he was born.
