Just when I thought I could let my breath out in At the foot of the hill

So thankful that Daughter and her grandbaby’s Covid tests came back negative. We were still celebrating when we got the scary news that a resident in our building possibly had it. Yesterday we were informed that this woman did test positive. Now everybody who
lives here is in the “most susceptible” category, being over 65 and most, if not all, of us have some kind of underlying condition. We have not, of course, been told who she is. She has been quarantined for 14 days, so I assume she is not too sick. I will pray for her. The rest of us have not been locked down tight and rigidly regulated activities are still scheduled so far.
The thing is, we do not feel that she will keep herself locked down because she previously had been known to defy the rules and refuse to wear a mask and socially distance. We were told by the manager that she had been reprimanded several times. If she is able to stay at home, will she?
