I was going blind.

Right eye. Sensitivity to light, teardrops, disgusting crusties in the morning. This had been going on for over two years. I kind of resigned myself to being blind.

Driving was frakking scary. Imagine driving while tears are dripping down both your eyes.. I’d always ask Wife to drive if we were both going somewhere.

Yes, I went to an eye doctor. Drops didn’t do anything.

A few days ago, my eyes openned. I got so used to holding my right eye shut while talking to Wife. I don’t know the difference, or what caused this improvement.

The sun blinded me. The TV blinded me. Any lamp would blind me. It was just the other day when She turned on the kitchen light, then apologized for not warning me. As she was so used to me wincing in pain.

To see flowers. To… SEE. I’ll always wear glasses, but never take your eyesight for granted.
