Special in A Day in the Life of Me

So our big day is coming up in under 2 weeks, and I have been racking my brain on something fun to do. I have already booked the day off, as it already falls on HIS day off. The one thing i would have liked to try to do is out of the books because the place i was looking at no longer offers it (trail riding), and the place they suggested instead is a couple hours away, and we have no car, and the bike didn’t get back on the road this year because the bank screwed us around, AGAIN.
I would like to do something OTHER then going out to a restaurant to eat. I would like to spend the day doing something fun and different, as well as maybe eating out. I am stumped. and not sure what to try and arrange… and with all the restrictions around it makes it a little bit harder then usual too.
Any suggestions?

Picnic? Zoo? Theme park? Sea life centre? I don’t know what you have that you can get to!

every time i try and plan a picnic, we get rained out lol, no theme parks or sea life centers here, and nearest zoo is a wild life park but its a 45 min drive with no public transit to it. makes it hard to do those kind of things, and alot of the the tourist things we did when he was here on his first visit (citadel hill, military air flight museum etc). but there is a natural history museum we could go see, i think there is an Egyptian display on right now, might be worth a lookie look.. lol
