"THE OUTBREAK" in "RESTLESS: POETICALLY-SPEAKING"

The crowd has never looked so treacherous.
Nobody’s being serious
when it comes to dealing with the virus.

They simply group,
like hopeful fans for some photoshoots,
ignorant that it’s no good.

How to flatten the curve,
reducing the outbreak,
when ignorance and selfishness share the same role,
wiping out even the most careful and responsible?
