Kyo (that's the nickname I use for my husband) decided that since I'm the one moving away that he would buy me a new bed so that I wouldn't have to sleep on the old bed we'd shared back in the day when we were still dating. Nice guy. :)
I went looking for beds and came across one that was comfortable and nice. It was also on a 60% off sale so the price was right. While laying on all the beds I also played with the different features of some of them. One bed had the controller that let you lift your head or your feet, or be put in 0 gravity mode, and also had massage! I had a blast just chilling on that one while I talked to the sales person.
Well that fun little feature was $2,000. -Yeah- No go on that one, but still it was fun to dream.
When I went into buy the mattress I was informed that a last year's floor model of the adjustable bed springs was available. It sold for $1500. Still too rich for my blood. But we had the team at the store run around to see if it still worked. It did. And.... to our surprise was on sale for $300.
SCORE!
So not only did I get a brand new mattress, but the fun adjustable bed with massage.
Right time, right place. :)
