Saturday Afternoon in Texas in Everyday Stuff

This morning the sun was beaming in the windows. The birds were singing. A soft breeze was drifting through the open windows.

And now it’s dark, grey and raining with thunder and lightning. With Texas weather, it can change in an instant. At least it’s still nice and cool rather than hot and humid. I’ll take this any day!

I’m currently working on my weekly lesson plans (and getting distracted by the weather, of course). It’s difficult to do these damn lesson plans when I have such different ages and abilities in my class. I’m supposed to have 18-24 months; however, I have a 14 month old and a little girl who’s 2.5 (in addition to the other kids). The 14 month old just learned to walk and is still very baby-like. So… it complicates things. I’d say he can sit them out but he doesn’t sit, haha.

Alright, time to take a coffee break.
