They woke, Okkar tied to the tree William removed the gag and talked to him. Barely convincing him that he had appeared to be acting crazy and they feared he had caught the curse so the knocked him unconscious and tied him up for his own safety. He agreed and they went back inside, Okkar, gag replaced, left tied to a tree.

Returning to the last known point in the cave they picked a door and discovered 6 large carts with unrefined gold ore and many footprints. Though they wanted to put all of it in the bag of holding they decided to put that off until after the cavern was cleared.

Continuing through the rooms they found a storage room that smelled of rotted foods. Moving on they found an alter room. There was a broken statue of a hammer to the often associated with the Dwarven God, Mordin and a 3 tier fountain of gold liquid. William peeked in the room to see what was in there but he didn’t even go in because the hammer was broken and a fear of getting the glitterdoom curse because of his already greedy personality and dwarven heritage..... Nicole went in and Rocky as well. Rocky attempted to put this gold liquid into the bag of holding. During this he felt a wave of magic wash wave him but nothing had happened. So they decided to take it and dump it on poor Okkar tied to the tree. Rocky pulled everything they had put in the bag so far out and put it on their cart then turned the bag inside out over Okkar’s head. Nothing happened at first, till the smooth gold liquid washed over his hands. Then, Okkar became petrified and tears of gold appeared on his face, transforming into coins as they hit the ground (11gp) the party split the money (3 each) and started a business fund (1gp). They returned to the room with the fountain and decided they would take some of it when this was over and create more statues out of Yemmin and possibly Davin or any other NPC they stored in the basement in order to generate a passive income.

Moving forward they came to a bedroom with bed, wardrobe, and desk. Everything was covered in a thick layer of dust but they were able to find a metal scroll underneath. William took the time to read the dwarven written out describing that the previous priest had switched the God he worshiped and brought the glitterdoom upon the mine under instruction of Grarr, the god if misers and misery.

The backtracked and went through a door in a previous hallway (that I forgot to mention at the top of this page) into a room with a 20 foot wide bucket that they could lower into a space below, which they did. As the bucket lowered they could see that they were coming into a rather large room and they heard a loud booming voice say “Come down and play with us.”.... determined to clear the cave of it’s evils they continued to lower the bucket.

The buckets sides being 8 feet tall they couldn’t see but started devising a plan .... ultimately they decided to swing open the door and go for it. Greedyguts and three greed grubs awaited them. They each made quick looks around the room before beginning to battle for their lives. They saw the opening of the mine and an alter with red lit candles. A sacred weapon in the shape of a hammer appeared above them giving Greedyguts a bonus attack each turn. After the end of the second round they heard the sound of many approaching greed grubs, as if impossible to count by sound alone. They began to approach (1d4 each round). They decided that the concentration should be on Greedguts himself. Rocky rushed up and attacked him and in response Greedyguts cast command on him causing Rocky to run as far as he possibly could away from him. This pretty much wasted 2 turns for Rocky. Within the next 2 rounds 12 greed grubs had begun reaching melee range (only now do I remember they had a ranged attack and could have started to attack earlier, have I said I hate being the DM yet?) They managed to kill Greedyguts before the droves of greed grubs took them. Once Greedyguts was destroyed the alter broke in half and the geed grubs vanished. Relieved, they examined the dead body to find a couple keys and a +1 pick ax… unholy symbols (which William stomped on till they broke) and keys to the vault and front door. They also examined the broken alter, it was hollow and had 85! gold nuggets inside each valued at about 25 gp.

They decided they want to live here now and Nicole went from room to room casting Prestidigitation and cleaning stuff (I just now looked it up and we are going to have to talk because it’s 1 Cubic foot for clean up so whole rooms wouldn’t happen in seconds).

I let them level up and they discussed people they would need to hire in order to create a city.
