Self isolation week 1 in A Day in the Life of Me

Well, I’ve been on self isolation for a week now. Got the text from my manager last Sunday we would be closed effective immediately for 2 weeks with pay, then half way through this first one, she msg’d to say we’re closed until the 3rd with no idea if the 3rd will be paid or not.
So, I’ve been stitching up a storm, as any of my FB/insta followers know, basically working through a huge order for one of my co-workers, bing watching Hemlock Grove (finished now) and all specials and full seasons of Disney Fairytale weddings (now I have wedding fever). And random movies on Disney, as well as Prime Minister broadcasts… Man that last show is getting old.. lol
Mom’s been frequently hinting I should go home.
D’s work has been going this entire time, and have only just shut today (Sunday), because the provincial premier has instituted state of emergency. Mostly because yesterday was so nice every one and there dogs (litterly) were out at beaches and parks and NOT practicing social distancing.
Now no groups larger than 5 allowed, and if so, we can be fined up to $2500 and and business open that has more (outside of grocery stores and pharmacy stores) will be fined up to $7500 per person per day.

It’s nuts what’s happening, and I am keeping all of you in my thoughts constantly, you know who you are with out me saying.
I also hadn’t realized it had been so long since I was on here (how does that keep happening).
I’ve only just caught up on all your entries tonight.. sorry. I haven’t noted only because I’m sure your all tired of the same ‘stay safe’ ‘this will be over soon’ ‘omg wash your hands’ notes.

Got my tax refund Thursday, and outside of a small chunk going to my credit card debt, I have pretty much blown through it with frequent stock up trips for the fridge/freezer, cupboards and Felan.
Today I went and got a huge bag of flour on sale, and powdered milk just in case.
I’ve always been a “cupboards have to be stocked” kinda gal.. I thank my Dad for that habit. But this shit got me running every day… No I don’t have 30thousand roles of TP, but I can be comfortable knowing I have enough to get me through, and food plenty to last if a lockdown comes into place.
I might make 1 more chocolate/junk food run tomorrow.... Not a good idea but a girl in a pandemic needs comfort food amirite?

Wow those are some huge fines!

one woman in newfoundland has been arrested twice for ignoring that provinces quarantine regulations.... if she got that fine on top she might have thought about it before doing so the second time..
