Stressed the fu@& out in A Day in the Life of Me

Stressful day.
Did not get as far on the latest project as I had hoped, had to backtrack on a foundation piece, and a few other small things, so that slowed things down tonight. My regular readers who also have me on FB/insta will know what I’m talking about.
Found out I’m now off until end of April.
Furlowed.
Awaiting ROE so I can join the millions of other people in my country in the proverbial EI lines, and pray I get enough to hold us over for everything.
Was not expecting things to go this long.
Noone was.
And while it’s news I was kinda expecting when I got the msg from my boss about the conference call I had to be on today, it was still hard and instantly stressful to hear.
To the essential workers in ever field. Thank you
To the rest of you, I don’t care what is going on, be nice to those workers.

Yes to your last two sentences! Will you get paid while on furlough? Our government is giving 80% salary to everyone on furlough. The employers are supposed to top up the extra 20% but most of them aren't!

no, the decision had already been made before they decided to do the supplements here, so i am awaiting my RoE so i can file for the emergency benefits
